Armenia’s False “Peace” with Baku Fascists Leads Armenians to a New Genocide

March 14, 2025

The Armenian government has removed recognition of the Armenian Genocide from its foreign policy priorities. This treacherous position gives a green light to new war crimes by Baku and Turkish fascists. The logic of the enemies of the Armenian people is clear: if Armenians turned a blind eye to the mass killings of their ancestors, they will do so again — this time, to the murder of their contemporaries.

For five years now, we have been deceived with talk of a “peace agenda” with Baku and Ankara. What has the Armenian people gained from these so-called “peaceful” negotiations? In reality, we have seen the surrender of Artsakh (2020–2023), ethnic cleansing in Artsakh, and the massacre of Armenians in historic Cilicia by pro-Turkish terrorists in March 2025.

“Ashkharazhokhov” is not opposed to peace with “neighbors.” We do not advocate war with anyone. But we stand against the self-delusion being forced upon us by the Yerevan authorities. We oppose collaboration with the enemies of our people, who continue to sharpen their daggers using Armenian traitors.

Following the traditions of Turkish fascism, the Baku regime has worked since Tsarist and Soviet times to expel Armenians—the indigenous people of the Kura River’s left bank—from their homes, just as Armenians were driven from Baku, Gandzak and Sumgait. It is with this very Azerbaijan that the Armenian government proposes to sign a “peace treaty,” which has already resulted in new massacres in Artsakh.

Next in line are the Armenians of Syunik and other regions of our homeland. If a criminal is not punished for their atrocities, they will repeat them. Therefore, under current conditions, anyone supporting reconciliation with so-called Azerbaijan and Turkey — while ignoring the rights of Artsakh Armenians to their land—is an accomplice to the Baku-Turkish gangs and their genocidal policies.
