The Pan-Armenian Movement “Ashkharazhokhov” (hereinafter – “Movement”) respects the privacy of the visitors and the users of the ashkharazhokhov.org Website (hereinafter – “Website”) and makes every effort to protect it. “Privacy Policy” (the “Policy”) explains what information we collect, why we collect it and how do we keep your data secure.

By completing the Website registration form or using the Website you automatically agree with the Terms and Conditions of the Policy.

This Policy uses the following terms:

Website — a set of files placed and linked in a logical sequence, in the form of separate web pages, accessed via the Internet under the domain name: ashkharazhokhov.org.

Website visitor — a private individual who entered the Website for whom personal data is processing.

Website User — a visitor of the Website who has registered on the Website by creating his/her account in our system.

Personal data — information or collect of data concerning a private individual who is identified or can be specifically identified.

The kind and the methods of data collection

We store all the data collected using cookies in a non-personally identifiable format. Information obtained through cookies cannot be disclosed to any third party.

Why do we collect your personal data?

The Movement only processes information provided by the user voluntarily.

We have the right to process the personal data collected during the registration process.

Data processing purpose is enabling the information exchange between us and the user. The information we receive is used solely to fulfil the purposes set out in the Movement Statutes.

We use contact details (email and phone number) to communicate with Website users individually or to send bulk mailing, as well as messaging service (SMS, Viber, Telegram, WhatsApp and others).

Collected personal data will not be disclosed to the third parties, except in cases specified by the Armenian legislation and the provisions of this Policy.

How long is the data stored?

Personal data is erased by sending a request from registration email to the e-mail address ashkharazhokhov@gmail.com.

Complete erasure of user data underpins the termination of any relationship with the user.

The cookies are stored on the visitor’s device and the visitor can self-manage its usage. The visitor can independently remove the cookies placed on the device at any time. If the visitor does not delete the files, they are stored for a certain period of time according to the section “What personal data we collect and how?” of this document.

Who is accessing the data?

We may disclose your email address and mobile phone number to a third party in order to provide information dissemination services via telephone, email, short messaging services (SMS, Viber, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.). 

The third party uses this information only to provide information dissemination services by means of telephone and electronic communications, messaging services (SMS, Viber, Telegram, WhatsApp, etc.) or mailing on our behalf. You can unsubscribe immediately after receiving an e-mail.

The Website may include clickable links to the third-party Websites, such as social networks (Facebook, X, YouTube, Instagram) or a Telegram channel.  We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties and recommend you to review the Privacy policy of these Websites.

Data security measures

All Website data is transmitted and stored securely. We take precautions to use the personal information securely for privacy purposes. Any personal information is encrypted on the Website. Secure pages on the Website have a special icon in the address bar of your browser and look like a padlock. Confidential data: mobile numbers, email addresses — user sensitive information.

We use reasonable measures to help protect information from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. But you should be aware of the potential negative impact of cyber-attacks and any other unforeseen circumstances. Therefore, by posting any information on the Website, the user is aware of and assumes the risks involved.

Data processing consent

A user of the Website, by agreeing to the Policy and providing us with information about himself/herself, consents to the data processing. But the user can withdraw the consent at any time by removing the account and collected personal data on the Website. Such a request should be sent to ashkharazhokhov@gmail.com from the registration email.  Please note that we cease to receive your information afterwards. In this case, the user needs to re-register on the Website.

Data Processing Consent

By agreeing to the Policy and providing us your data, the Site user consents to its processing. But the user can withdraw the consent at any time by deleting the account and collected personal data on the Website. You should send a request to ashkharazhokhov@gmail.com from your registration email. Please note that after this, we will cease to receive your further data. The user should then undergo a re-registration procedure on the Website.

By browsing the Website, you consent to process cookies making the Website function properly and provide a better user experience. The cookies are stored on your device, so you can independently remove them at any time.

Disclosure of information to third parties.

We do our best to correct User’s personal data if it was entered incorrectly during the registration or to remove it, unless the storage is required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

We do not provide User data to third parties without the User’s consent or a relevant court order (judgement).

Changes to the Policy

We may change the terms of this policy unilaterally. The changes made will take effect within three calendar days of publication on the Website. If the changes are material, you will be informed by email (sent to the registration email) or by the notice on this Website before the changes take effect.
